Academic Record Analysis

We’ll start the course by evaluating your CV & deciding what you have to accomplish over the next year if you intend to stay in academia. We’ll talk about grants you can take with you & how to choose a postdoc in your field. If you decide not to stay in academia, we’ll discuss what you can do instead with your 9 scientific leadership skills.

02 / WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO?

Job Market Analysis

In the second phase, we’ll talk about 1) what you want to do after you get your PhD, and 2) what it’s possible to do, considering your leadership skills, personal preferences & labor market conditions. We’ll discuss all possible jobs you’re qualified for across all 9 economic sectors & use that to make Plan A, B & C.

03 / HOW CAN YOU GET THERE?

Job Search Strategy

In the third & final phase, we’ll talk about how to get the job. We’ll figure out what you can do that no one else can do & write your applications accordingly. We’ll discuss networking, interviewing & negotiation, and use the results from each stage to improve the next application— until you get a great offer.
